what we believe

A verse in the Bible beautifully reveals the truth about God and us:  

‘This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.’ (1 John 4v9-10)


The Son, Jesus, is God’s gift to the world. Fully God and fully man – He is the most remarkable person we’ve met. We would love you to know Him too. Jesus is God’s unmerited, undeserved, perfect love.

We are convinced that God calls everyone to respond to His love. A right response to that love can be captured in 6 words: 

‘Knowing Jesus; Serving Jesus; Proclaiming Jesus’.
As such our conviction as individuals and as church family is our commitment to Christ:

We live to know Jesus: He gave His life for us to have a deep, authentic, growing relationship with Him.

We live to serve Jesus: Christ served us first so we put His desires, His commands, and His interests ahead of any other.

We live to proclaim Jesus: All honour is due to Him, and His is the only name that can save people, so we seek to make Him known to anyone and everyone we can.
